Why our transport is better: you relax instead of navigating unfamiliar roads; guides know shortcuts, best stops and hidden gems; insurance and liability are handled; communication happens in local languages; and support is there if anything goes wrong.

If you prefer self-drive we support it — just tell us. We can arrange car rental recommendations, coordinate with local logistics, and a guide is still available for navigation and cultural guidance at a reduced rate.

Reality check: Moroccan driving is adventurous (different roads, traffic culture, signage). Most travellers prefer the guided approach.

Tips are a thank-you, not an obligation. We never pressure tipping. Guides appreciate them as it supplements their income — and you'll know if they were good (they usually are).

March–May (spring) — best: perfect temperatures (20–25°C), wildflowers and green landscapes, ideal for hiking, desert and everything else. Popular, so book ahead.

September–November (autumn) — excellent: pleasant temperatures (20–28°C), fewer tourists than spring, great for all activities and ideal for photography.

June–August (summer) — challenging: extreme heat in the south and desert (40–50°C), higher prices, coastal areas more pleasant, not ideal for desert unless you are heat-tolerant.

December–February (winter) — viable: cool in the mountains (it can snow), mild in the lowlands (15–20°C), fewer tourists and lower prices, rainy in some areas, great for escaping colder weather.

Our recommendation: March–May or September–November. Perfect weather, a good balance of crowds and value, ideal for most activities.

It depends on your nationality. UK, EU and US citizens need no visa for tourism (up to 90 days), and most Western countries are the same. Other nationalities should check with the Moroccan embassy for their country.

Requirements: a passport valid for 6+ months beyond travel, and proof of onward travel (return flight).
