Your imperial journey begins in Morocco’s elegant capital, Rabat. Your guided tour starts at the majestic Royal Palace (Dar al-Makhzen), where you’ll admire the grand exteriors and learn about Morocco’s monarchy. Just a short walk away, you’ll stand in awe at the Hassan Tower, the unfinished minaret of a grand 12th-century vision, and the magnificent Mausoleum of Mohammed V, a masterpiece of modern Alaouite dynasty architecture.Afterwards, your guide will lead you through the enchanting blue-and-white streets of the Kasbah of the Udayas, a fortified citadel overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Bou Regreg River. Day 2

Night 1: Overnight in Fez

After breakfast, we depart for the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. A guided tour will lead you through this UNESCO World Heritage site, where you’ll walk along decumanus streets, see remarkably preserved mosaics in their original locations, and pass under the grand Triumphal Arch, imagining life in this prosperous Roman city.We then continue to the imperial city of Meknes, known as the “Versailles of Morocco.” Your guided tour showcases the legacy of Sultan Moulay Ismail. You will see the monumental Bab Mansour gate, one of the finest imperial gateways in Morocco, and explore the vast Heri es-Souani granaries and stables. The day concludes as we continue to the spiritual and cultural capital, Fez.

Day 3

Rabat

After breakfast, your immersion into the ancient city of Fez begins. A guided tour takes you to a panoramic viewpoint for a breathtaking vista over the entire medina. You will then visit a traditional ceramic and pottery workshop to watch master artisans at work.Next, you delve into the labyrinthine Fes el-Bali medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your tour includes the beautiful Al-Attarine Madrasa, the vibrant souks, and the iconic Chouara Tannery, viewed from a strategic terrace. The experience includes a traditional lunch at a restaurant within the old city.In the afternoon, your guide will lead you to the Royal Palace to admire its grand golden doors and the historic Mellah (Jewish Quarter).
