Your journey through Morocco’s imperial cities begins in the modern capital, Rabat. Your guided tour starts at the majestic Royal Palace (Dar al-Makhzen), where you’ll admire the grand exteriors and learn about the Moroccan monarchy. After breakfast, we travel to Meknes, the third imperial city known as the “City of a Hundred Minarets” and the legacy of Sultan Moulay Ismail. Your guided tour begins at the monumental Bab Mansour, one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco. Continue to the Heri es-Souani, the vast granaries and stables that showcase the sultan’s ambitious vision.Explore the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum (entrance included), an active place of worship known for its beautiful courtyards and intricate decoration. Your guide will then lead you through the vibrant Meknes Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can experience the local souks and historic landmarks.In the afternoon, we continue to Fez, where you will check into your hotel. Day 3

Rabat

After breakfast, your immersion into the ancient city of Fez begins. A guided tour takes you to a panoramic viewpoint for a breathtaking vista over the entire medina sea of green-tiled roofs and minarets.Next, you will visit a traditional ceramic and pottery workshop in the famed Fes el-Bali medina to watch master artisans at work.
