Frequently Asked Questions

What is a traditional hammam experience like?
A traditional hammam is a Moroccan steam bath that helps cleanse and relax the body. The experience typically involves warming up in a steam room, followed by a full-body scrub with a special glove called a kessa. This is included in your tour, with optional extra treatments like a relaxing massage available for an additional fee.
A riad is a traditional Moroccan house with an interior garden or courtyard, offering more authentic and intimate accommodation. Hotels provide more standardized international-style rooms. Our tour includes riad stays for an authentic experience, but we can arrange hotel accommodation upon request.
The tour involves moderate walking through the medinas of Rabat, Sale, and Casablanca. The streets can be narrow, crowded, and uneven in places. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and being prepared for walking periods of 1-2 hours at a time with breaks.
Only breakfasts are included in the tour price. This gives you the flexibility to explore local restaurants and choose your own dining experiences for lunch and dinner based on your preferences and budget.
The hammam may present challenges for those with significant mobility issues as it involves moving between different temperature rooms and using wet surfaces. We recommend contacting us in advance to discuss specific needs and arrangements.
