Mid-Day: Sefrou's Market Charm We explore the lively market together, where locals have traded for centuries. You will see artisans weaving carpets, shaping pottery, and crafting traditional items. We pause at the waterfalls that cascade through the town, a local landmark offering perfect photos. Taste local pastries like ghoriba, watch the town’s daily rhythm, and experience Sefrou’s authentic atmosphere firsthand. Afternoon: Bhalil's Cave Dwellings Next, we drive a short distance to Bhalil, famous for its hillside cave homes. Step inside as we walk the terraced streets carved into the rock. You will meet residents and witness life in these unique dwellings. We may stop for mint tea in a family home, enjoying sweeping views over the valley. I explain the history of these cave homes and how families have lived here for generations. Late Afternoon: Return to Fez We return to Fez together as the afternoon light softens the hills. Along the way, take in the changing landscape, reflect on the day, and carry with you the memories of Sefrou’s markets, Bhalil’s cave dwellings, and the warmth of Morocco’s highland communities.
