Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best time of year to visit the Atlas Mountains on this tour?
Spring (April-June) and Autumn (September-October) are the best times, with pleasant temperatures for walking and clear mountain views. Summer is warm but comfortable, while winter can be cold with possible snow in Ifrane.
The walking in the Azrou Cedar Forest is light to moderate on generally good paths. The walk is at a leisurely pace with plenty of stops to observe the monkeys and take photos. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
While sightings are very common as the monkeys live freely in the cedar forest, we cannot guarantee sightings as they are wild animals. The best chances are during the morning and late afternoon when they are most active.
We recommend layered clothing as temperatures can be cooler than in Casablanca, especially in the evening. A light jacket, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and a hat are essential. In winter, warmer clothing is necessary.
Only breakfast at your hotel is included in Ifrane. Lunch and dinner are not included, giving you the flexibility to choose from local restaurants and experience the town’s unique culinary offerings at your own pace.
