Our Story

A Bold Vision. A Shared Love for Morocco

Visit Morocco Tours was born from a bold choice and a heartfelt connection to Morocco. Petia, an experienced entrepreneur in tourism and strategic planning, had built her life in the UK. But one business trip to Morocco changed her path forever. Captivated by the country’s breathtaking landscapes, timeless traditions, and warm-hearted people, she made a life-changing decision- to stay and build something with purpose.

Soon after, like-minded souls joined her mission. Aimad, a licensed tour guide from Marrakech, brought deep cultural insight and a lifetime of local expertise. Rafik followed, a city tour specialist with more than a decade of experience guiding travellers through Morocco’s rich heritage. Then came Said, born in the golden dunes of Merzouga, whose knowledge of the Sahara Desert is truly unmatched.

As the vision grew, Ivon Borisova, a marketing and branding expert, joined the journey. With a deep understanding of storytelling, tourism, and digital strategy, she helped shape the voice of Visit Morocco Tours, giving it authenticity, clarity, and a connection with global travellers.

Today, Visit Morocco Tours works with curious solo travellers, private groups, corporate companies, and international travel agencies. Our team customises unforgettable Morocco tours- from desert adventures and cultural experiences to city breaks and business retreats. Petia is the spark that lit the fire behind Visit Morocco Tours. Born in Bulgaria and having spent years in the UK, she carries a world of experience and perspective. Her professional background in strategy development for a major travel agency gave her the insight, while her heart gave her the courage to do something different-something meaningful. One business trip to Morocco turned into a life decision, and within a month, she made the country her home.

Her connection to Morocco was instant and deep, not just with the landscapes and cities, but with the people. Petia’s mission was clear: create a space where tourists could experience Morocco with heart, soul, and authenticity, far from the clichés and cookie-cutter tours. Her experience in tourism and entrepreneurship became the foundation for something that felt more like a movement than a business.

At her core, Petia is a bridge-builder between cultures, ideas, and people. She believes in collaboration, in slow travel, in real stories. With an eye for strategy and a heart full of wanderlust, she brings structure to the team and soul to the journey.

Aimad is more than a guide — he is a Cultural Ambassador with over 7 years of experience leading tourists through Morocco’s diverse and mesmerising landscapes. Raised in Marrakech, but deeply connected to every corner of the country, he brings a national perspective shaped by tradition, storytelling, and human connection.

As a licensed national tour guide, Aimad offers far more than facts. He shares Morocco’s living culture with authenticity and care, from the imperial cities and winding medinas to the dunes of the Sahara and hidden valleys of the Atlas. His ability to connect people with places makes every journey not only educational but transformational.

Guests immediately sense his calm, kind presence and appreciate his fluency in several languages — a skill that helps every tourist feel seen, safe, and welcome. With over a decade of guiding experience, this Casablanca-born professional brings Morocco’s vibrant urban culture to life. Charismatic and sharply insightful, he offers travelers a lens into the dynamic rhythm of Moroccan cities — from their contemporary energy to their deep-rooted traditions.

He holds a national tour guide license and combines street-smart knowledge with historical depth, delivering stories that go far beyond the guidebook. His passion lies in connecting guests to Morocco’s evolving identity — from cosmopolitan boulevards to hidden medinas pulsing with local flavour.

His love for architecture, urban legends, and modern Moroccan lifestyle adds a fresh and inspiring dimension to every tour. Whether exploring art districts or sipping mint tea in an old café, he ensures visitors experience Morocco in its full, living context.

He is soft-spoken and humble, but his presence is unforgettable. Whether you’re riding camels under the stars or sharing tea in a nomadic tent, Said makes sure your experience is real, warm, and rooted in truth. He’s passionate about showing the side of Morocco that can’t be Googled — the part that’s lived.

As part of the founding team, Said helps shape the desert itineraries and supports local partnerships that give back to his community. He is deeply committed to sustainability and cultural respect.
