Spring (April-June) and autumn (September-October) are ideal, with mild temperatures perfect for hiking and clear mountain views. Summer is pleasant and warm, while winter can be cold with possible snow in Ifrane.
Sightings are very common as the monkeys live freely in the Azrou Cedar Forest, but we cannot guarantee sightings as they are wild animals. Your guide will know the best spots and times for optimal viewing opportunities.
We recommend layered clothing as temperatures are cooler than in Rabat, especially mornings and evenings. Bring a warm jacket, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and a hat. In winter, pack warmer clothing including gloves.
Temperatures in Ifrane are significantly cooler than coastal cities. Summer evenings are fresh (10-15C/50-59F), while winter can drop below freezing, especially at night. Always check the forecast and pack accordingly.
The 3-star hotels offer comfortable accommodation with private bathrooms, heating, and basic amenities. They provide clean, cozy rooms perfect for resting after a day of mountain exploration, though they may have simpler facilities than city hotels.
